This project was started in 1997 by O. Kohut and O. Khmarsky of T.O.B. "Skela" with consulting work provided by Pro-W (Ukraine). The project consisted of an 18 hole golf course on the Islands of Korol and Charka and the refurbishment of the Resort "Baza" -" Chervona Ruta" which would have provided the Club House, restaurant, bar, health club, tennis courts, swimming pool, cottages, etc for the resort. The project was abandoned in 1998 due to lack of funding and due to reluctance by the owners of the "Baza" to give approvals to a "bourgeois" project such as Golf on their premises.
