Kyiv Country Club

The successor to 12 Oaks at Koncha Zaspa, this ambitious golf resort was actually started in 1998. The founders of this golf resort included Mr. Spizhenko, former Minister of Health and President of the All-Ukrainian Golf Federation, Mr. Didenko, the late Mr. Leliukh, Walter Prochorenko of Pro-W (Ukraine), and others. Later the company structure was re-registered as a "non-profit citizen's organization", and all but Mr Leliukh were excluded from the new structure. The company was later reorganized with new owners which included some prominent Kyiv business persons. Pro-W (Ukraine) provided consulting services to KCC until 1999 but discontinued its services due to payment disputes. KCC provided driving range services until the summer of 2000 but the construction of the golf course and ancillary services never materialized. The project changed several times but the concept included an 18 hole golf course, a clubhouse, a hotel, villas, cottages, condominiums, restaurants, a health club, a boat for taking golfers from the mainland to the island, full security services, horseback riding, hunting and fishing areas, swimming pools and a fresh water lake, a driving range, putting greens, etc.
